Final Assignments Photo 12

Here is the list of term 4 assignments...there may be additions to this list depending on class work habits. Please check frequently if you are not coming to class on a regular basis.

1. poem/storyboard: 10 marks: already overdue
2. video poem: 50 marks : Tues May 17 to be presented in class on this day for 10 marks. 
3. product shoot: ( 5 shots, 1 good ad on Flickr) Mon May 9 on Flickr.
4. portraits: 10 marks : set to slideshow and on Flickr, combined with downtown shoot with music: presentation in class on June 15/16 10 marks
5. downtown shoot: 20 shots: Fri June 10  leaving the school at 12 noon. assign. due along with portrait slideshow and put on Flickr June 16/17 in class
6. website update:10 marks, June 21

7. Short teaching on a topic: 10 marks in class week of JUNE 6-10. 
8. Photo book : 20 marks, 20 of your best pictures in a fully developed book. June 21, give yourself 3 weeks turnaround time.

Welcome to Photo 12

The following is a list of your first assignments.

1.Tilt shift - 1 photo from high up then edited into tilt shift Post to Flickr (5 marks)
2. Before and After - 4 shots , 2 bad and 2 improved, post to Flickr ( 5 marks)
3. App presentation - choose a photo editing app and explain its features, describe the positive and negative aspects, cost etc. ( 10 marks) Friday Feb 19
4. Assignment #1 - The following is a list of photos that will be taken and then put into a slideshow and set to music. These photos should also be posted to Flickr. (35 marks)  10 marks for presentation. Due Wed. Feb 17 in class
5. website - you are to create a website that has a head shot of yourself, a bio that describes you, your interests and a little about the type of photography you enjoy. You should post up any good photos that you have taken. Use Weebly as your site builder, the site does not have to be fully published. 
(10 marks due end of term 3) You will update this site and get another 10 marks for term 4.
6. Theme shoot: You are to take 20 photos on a theme of your choice and put into a slideshow set to music. ( 20 marks) Due date TBA
7. Magazine cover
8. Video 1 minute your choice. (20 marks)

The following is a list of assignments that are due for term 2:

Video: 1 min your choice of content ( 30 marks) to be presented to the class Tues Jan 13

Photo book: A completed photo book 10 pages minimum showcasing your  best photographic work. (20 marks)

Update to web page: add videos and other photographic work to your site (10 marks)

Photo Artwork: produce a piece of art from one or more of your photos. (20 marks)

Big Me Little Me: Find an old pic of yourself and duplicate the same shot of yourself today. Your old pic will need to be scanned in. ( 10 marks)

Conceptual shots: 3 shots that have a conceptual/deeper meaning. You will likely be using Photoshop for this assignment (30 marks)

Teaching Lesson: You will teach a lesson on a topic to the class. (10 marks)

Slideshow: Best 10 pics of the year (10 marks)
